Terms of Service

woo/skills provides a library of AI agent skills designed to help operate WooCommerce stores. Some skills are read-only (analytics, audits) and others can modify data in your store (bulk updates, refunds, status changes). The Service includes the website, the agent chat, the documentation, and the CLI used to install skills locally.

You must be at least 16 years old, or the age of majority in your jurisdiction, to use the Service. You are responsible for the security of any credentials you use to access the Service or to connect a WooCommerce store, and for all activity performed under those credentials.

• Do not use the Service to violate any law or third-party right, or to process data you do not have the right to process.
• Do not attempt to interfere with, overload, reverse-engineer, or probe the Service for vulnerabilities outside of a coordinated disclosure.
• Do not use the Service to send spam, phishing content, malware, or to harass others.
• Do not misuse rate limits, automate the chat to circumvent fair-use, or scrape content for resale.
• Use of write-enabled skills against a WooCommerce store you do not own or administer requires the explicit authorisation of the store owner.

When you connect a WooCommerce store, you authorise the agent to call your store’s REST API using the credentials you provide, only to perform the actions you trigger. You remain solely responsible for your store data, for taking backups before destructive operations, and for any consequence resulting from instructions you issue. Skills that modify data offer a dry-run preview where applicable; you should review previews before confirming.

The agent chat produces output using third-party AI models. Output may be inaccurate, incomplete or unsuitable for your context. You are responsible for reviewing and validating any output before relying on it, and especially before executing any action that modifies your store, your customers or your finances. We make no warranty that AI output will be correct or fit for any particular purpose.

The skills published in the GitHub repository are released under their declared open-source licence. Your use of those skills is also subject to that licence. The website code, branding and aggregate content remain owned by woo/skills and are made available to you under a limited, revocable, non-exclusive licence to use the Service as intended.

Some features may be marked as beta, preview, or experimental. They are provided as-is, may change or be removed at any time, and may carry additional risks. Avoid using beta features for critical workflows.

The Service is currently provided free of charge. We reserve the right to introduce paid plans, usage limits, or premium tiers in the future. Material pricing changes will be announced before they take effect.

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure or that defects will be corrected.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, woo/skills, its contributors and its providers shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or exemplary damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data, goodwill, or store inventory, arising out of or related to your use of the Service. Our aggregate liability for any claim arising out of or related to the Service is limited to one hundred US dollars (USD 100) or, if greater, the amounts paid by you to us in the twelve months preceding the claim.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless woo/skills and its contributors from any claims, liabilities, damages and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any third-party right, including any data you submit to the Service.

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms or pose a risk to the Service or its users. You may stop using the Service at any time. Provisions intended to survive termination (including disclaimers, liability limits, and indemnification) will survive.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which the operator of woo/skills resides, excluding its conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of that jurisdiction, unless mandatory consumer protection laws give you a different forum.

We may update these Terms periodically. The “last updated” date at the top reflects the latest revision. Continued use of the Service after the changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
